Are they fighting the CCP? Because they should really team up to topple that awful country.

Back in March I would've rolled out to my local theatre to see this, like I did for Tenet (it was early days and the measures put in place were perfectly safe imo) but I'll be watching from home on this occasion.

I'm thankful that this first trailer didn't give much away in regards to the real big bad, Mecha Godzilla. but I have to wonder if this would conclude the monsterverse in some respect? Either way, I adored King of the Monsters and have been ready to see Kong and Godzilla demolish an entire skyline ever since. :datass:

Just a shame those of us who can't be assed dicking around with NordVPN will have to wait until it becomes available elsewhere besides HBO Max.

The trailer actually has two shots one which spoil a big reveal and another which could only be linked to said big reveal. Godzilla thread on Reddit has pics. Been known for about 2 years but still nice to see it confirmed.

This film will conclude that monsterverse (sort of). TOHO will continue to make Godzilla films and Legendary can make monsterverse but not using TOHO creatures. So if this does well they could do Kong Vs movies. TOHO will probably be in pre production of the next Japanese Godzilla already for a 2022/23 release.

Also a new Godzilla anime movie/series coming to Netflix which looks excellent from the short teaser I saw.

I'll be renting day 1 and watching it until my eyes melt. Hopefully the 4K will be released soon after.

I think we will see another trailer about a month from now, which hopefully won't spoil too much, I worry they'll be tempted to show off too much.
