I do hate that they feel the need to bring back all these old properties. But on the other hand it'll be good to see Keanu Reeves play something a bit more light-hearted. It'll be weird seeing Ted and thinking "I've seen him kill a man with a pencil."

One thing in its favour is Keanu has barely aged a day so we don’t have to worry about old man Ted talking about “babes”.
So they're just making it a pretty standard alien film now? There's no team on it's own being hunted by an unknown threat? I thought that was the whole point of the first film.

That's not really the issue (look at Alien vs Aliens). For me it's more that it looks like a standard summer thriller. No more, no less.
It's had a lot of delays , a lot of re shoots,a lot of very negative test screenings and the trailer does make it look gooseberry fool. Also ....

It changes the predator legend and instead of trophies the reason they are getting the human spines is for DNA so they can use it to evolve into better hunters. strawberry floating bollocks on a Prometheus level right there.
