I was nineteen years old when the musical Cats came to our town. I couldn't wait to see it. After the show I was asked if I wanted to go meet some of the performers backstage. Man, I was thrilled. But when I got back there, they were drunk and out of control. Rumpus Cat and Macavity kept feeling up my leg. I tried to leave, but, Rumpleteazer held me down, and... I was raped by Mr. Mistoffelees.

James Cordon and Rebel Wilson as fat cats.....

Hopefully it bombs super hard and stops more of his work coming to the big screen.

Who is still casting James Cordon, plays himself in everything and has only been in one good film (The History Boys)

Wish my image sig would work

That looks every bit as bad as I expected it to. Of all the musical adaptations they could have spent their time and effort on, they go for Cats :dread:

Like how they even name-drop the choreographer in the trailer too :slol: "it might look awful but you know it'll be energetic!"

I don't like the look of the cats, or some of the casting decisions, but I can still see this doing well.

This looks pretty good. I would not be surprised at all to learn that Tom Cruise learned how to fly a fighter jet for the role and did all the aerobatics himself.

This looks alright, but the apparent lack of Shannon Elizabeth in a catsuit is disheartening.

I don't understand how Tom Hooper goes from The King's Speech and Les Miserables to Cats. Cats FFS!

What are people here most looking forward to?

For me it has to be Dune.

That's going to be an 4DX outing for me :D .

Three from Hell
Godzilla Vs Kong
Tenet (new Christopher Nolan film)
IT Chapter 2

Not too excited for the last star wars or new marvel stuff. But next Batman Trilogy is very exciting.

Jason Mewes looks and sounds so old.

I guess heroin isn’t good for you.

They both completely different now. I know Kevin Smith had a heart attack, but he looks waaaay different.

As much as I love early Kevin Smith movies, anything solely focusing on Jay and Silent Bob doesn't work. Mewes is fine in small doses but he really can't act and that's even though he's essentially playing himself.

i agree they are good in cameos in other KS films but as a lead characters the original Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back movie was not that good

Yeah, he's lost a ton of weight due to have a "widow maker" hear attack.

Life needs a big old dose of Taika Waititi as Hitler.
