Great opening to the season but the whole "they're everywhere and always watching" aspect of the Dark Army is getting a little tired now. A properly great fake out ending for our times however.
Super start to the season. That opening scene caught me completely by surprise. Later on there is a single frame showing the body and it does look pretty conclusive, but you never know. Loved that fake-out at the end too. Every scene is so perfectly shot. I can't wait to see what Sam Esmail does with Battlestar Galactica after this.
As the final season is now being aired I decided to give this another go after previously only watching the first few episodes when it originally released.
Just finished season 2 last night and am really enjoying this now. It can be quite hard to follow at times but it's nice to get the "ah!" moments as things fall into place.
The second season was quite slow compared to the first but it seems like it's laid a lot of groundwork for the next season. Some of the scenes were also shot incredibly well, and it was never boring, although I imagine Elliot being isolated for so long was quite frustrating when watching week by week.
What's the consensus on season 3? Am I in for more of the same or does the show dip in quality?
S4E02: A bit of a slower one this week, but that ending caught me by surprise. I can't think of anyone who could possibly be the third personality, but I trust Esmail so can't wait to find out who it is.

Finally got up to date with this yesterday (not including last night's episodes), you were right season 3 is fantastic. The highlights were the one-shot episode and the one that followed it, great television.
It will be frustrating having to wait a week for each episode from now on. Any theories on who the 'other' personality is that was talked about in the second episode of this season? I can't think of anything that makes any plausible sense.

Damn right. Incredible episode.
Malek is surely nailed on for an Emmy nomination for this episode, that scene was absolutely gripping. I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since watching it.
I enjoyed that episode a lot and the revelation that unfolded had real impact and makes me want to rewatch from the start. I'm not sure I would say it was the best episode of Mr Robot just because it was so focused on one part of the story and a tiny number of characters, but it was another example of just how great this show is.
