Well, I gave it another go tonight on GP, and I have to say I'm impressed by how it looks now. Still, I got past level 1 again, and switched it off. I like the idea of it, even if the humour doesn't often work for me.

I've never played it before but it's decent enough.

You buy 3 years (so 3 x 12 months) of Xbox Live/Gold, then you add them individually to your account. Once its reading 3 years of that, go into the Game Pass app on your Xbox and click the “upgrade to ultimate for £1” option, then it’ll charge you a £1 and it should then say in your active subscriptions that Game Pass Ultimate will be renewed on the 5th of May 2024 for example. You can do it just for a year or two but the most you can get is 3 years of Gold converted to GPU which is why 3 years is probably most common. Hopefully that’ll help you out

I do quite like the twisted 50's B Movie vibe. And some of it is funny.

Plus, throwing things around and blowing things up in your flying saucer is pretty good.

I don't know; I was wrong to dislike it first time round (however many years ago that was) anyway.

I can see why people could have a lot of fun with it. It just didn't grab me that much - from what little I've played, for me, it's alright.

I just kind of know I'll move on to something else rather than persevere.

I've been playing Zombie Army 4. Took a while to click but really enjoying it now. I like the way each level is titled like a b-movie/old horror film.

Can see myself buying the DLC. Guess this is one of the thinkings behind Game Pass.

Destroy All Humans seems fun enough, but not something that i can justify putting my precious gaming time in to when there is so much else out there. Deleted it after a couple of missions.

Yes, been playing it on my own. You can select how many people are playing it which I imagine determines the amount of enemies you have to deal with.

Based on the size of the levels - they are not massively open, I think it's probably more suited to single player.

I'd be up for some co-op if you are interested though.

It will launch first in Game Preview for Xbox Series and Xbox One on June 1, and Xbox Game Pass subscribers will have free access to the Founder’s Edition.

Pretty sure it's a "new customers only" thing so even if your existing GPU sub lapses I don't think it works.

Without derailing the thread on the benefits or cons of spending 2 mins per day completing the daily Reward searches etc, I’ve just cashed in 117k points for £100 of store credit which I’ve put towards the cost of a brand new Surface Laptop! Chuffed with that as I desperately needed a new laptop to replace the 12-15 yr old one I have. I have a decent spec, Win 10 laptop winging its way to me in the next few days, partly financed by MS.

Did the usual daily browser stuff plus logging into the app and playing a game pass game. Then if you that every day and get the bonus ones it all adds up.

The only thing I know about it is that you can get all the achievements in an hour.

That's the one! "Played" it on PS4 and got all trophies except the stupid one to stand on someone else's head or something.

One for holding back on XSX till the "earn 10k rewards points from 10k achievements" task comes up again at some point I think!
