As the Barista in late-night coffee shop, ‘Coffee Talk’, players offer friendly conversation and late-night warm drinks to the colourful and fantastical inhabitants of alternative-Seattle including elves, aliens, and orcs. The game features visual aesthetics inspired by 90s anime, classic pixel art adventure games, and images often associated with lo-fi chill hop music. The visual novel storylines are determined based on drinks they are served, not through the dialogue selections. Coffee Talk is the place to be for those who want to chat, relax, and relate no matter who they are or where they come from over delicious expertly crafted hot drinks.

Out now, will probably be officially announced later today.

That was on before, wasn’t it? I’ve played it, and I certainly wouldn’t have paid for it.

EDIT: No, it was in Games With Gold a couple of years ago.

It was indeed on Gold.

I kept thinking about playing it, but it never made it to the top of the list (and in truth probably never will). Was it any good?

I didn’t like it much. Other people loved it. Not really a game. Just a very long series of conversations that you can’t even influence. And I found most of the characters extremely irritating, in the same way I did with Phoenix Wright. If you liked that, you might get on better than I did. And it’s not just that I don’t like visual novels. I enjoyed Danganronpa greatly.

Not to say this game is really anything like it, though! Just that it annoyed me in the same way, so at least you won’t have that hurdle.

Just tried a quick 15 minutes with it. It reminded me a lot of VA-11 HALL-A. Which is not a great sign for me personally as i thought that was massively overrated. I probably will give it an hour of my time tomorrow though and see how it shapes up. On iPad with a controller though - even a VN is unplayable with touch controls (possibly more so, as the opacity of the virtual buttons obstructs the text, and reducing the opacity just makes it hard ot see where the buttons you need to press are).

strawberry float me that's some cull of quality games to be replaced with shite. Bonus points for taking down Edith Finch about 2 weeks after the 4K 60 patch was released! Taking a page out of Sony's playbook it would seem.

Woah gooseberry fool, yeah, that’s terrible. Myst and 12 Minutes I can polish off, but I’ll have to buy Hades and Two Point Hospital next time they’re cheap.

But I am looking forward to Commandos 3 and TinyKin.

FFS, I had just come back here to edit my post to clarify that Immortality is one of my most keenly awaited games of the year - I loved Her Story and Telling Lies and that 10 from Edge has me massively excited for it. So just ignore me - i'm having a bad couple of weeks and my concentration / attention to detail is all over the place right now!

Is the console Rewards app giving anyone else jip?

EDIT: Never mind. Seems quite a few people on Twitter having issues with it for past few days and today. I'm guessing MS have it down to fix the achievement reward not working.

We’ve got all of these and more for you coming soon to Game Pass (and maybe some more surprises later this week) so let’s jump in!

Probably the classic Bethesda games (most if not all PC versions) coming to GP this Thursday when Quakecon starts.

Same. My streak better be intact when it's working again.

(Although I just recently got my 40 week reward, so I dunno what the difference would be between it resetting and keeping it as is.)
