Outer Wilds is brilliant :toot:

I’m really enjoying The Gunk. It seems much better than the middling reviews suggested to me. I suppose it’s not ground breaking ( more ground sucking), but I have found the mechanic much more compelling than many seem to have found.

I found it started well, had a real dip in the middle but finished quite strongly. It does nothing revolutionary but it's reasonable fun.

Just finished Gorogoa, not bad for a couple of hours.

I gave up on it just after discovering the ruins. I found it a bit too lite on the gameplay mechanics and loop. Really disappointed with it considering the dev's output up to now.

Yep, that’s a cool little game. I played it on iPhone and it felt perfect on that format. I also played it in work time whilst feeling particularly disenchanted, so it’s like I was making money whilst playing it. For that reason it will always have a special place in my heart.

The Pedestrian is utterly fantastic. Some excellent puzzling going on there.

I thought The Gunk was great too. Pretty short, even for an exploring completionist like me, and the sequence of puzzles in The Tower was a brilliant culmination. And thankfully the final boss was a simple affair and didn’t spoil the satisfaction of cracking The Tower.

Yup. Unlike FF7 Remake and Rainbow 6.

+1 for the gunk. I like the lack of hud, looks nice (could do with turning blur off) but I’m intrigued by the story and it’s done a good job of setting it up. It’s decent.

The scanning and sucking is a bit ‘planet scanning’ in ME2 but it’s alright. Overall, not convinced it was owed the 2/5 I was seeing.

I've never played Mass Effect so I'm quietly optimistic.

Meanwhile, DICE are working on the next Battlefield - which will be what 2048 should have been.

2042 is good and pretty solid now, although it needs some new maps now.

Anyone else ever have trouble getting a game to load? There's a dodgeball game that keeps booting me to Xbox main menu :/

Yeah, I had that once before. Restarting the console fixed it.
