I took up the crunchy roll offer too, but all the anime seems so strange nowadays. Couldn't find a single thing to watch.
Not like the late 90s, when it was all Bebop, Gundam, Trigun and Dragonball
FWIW Attack On Titan has been great so far. Recommended from me.
Get on Hunter x Hunter. It's considered the greatest combat anime ever. And don't be fooled by the cutesy look of it; that gooseberry fool goes places. (Probably the most inventive anime out there in terms of how it's forever evolving the rules of its world.) Yeah, Attack on Titan is worth a watch for the spectacle of it, but some of its plot, for the type of anime it is, was just too convoluted for me. Some fantastic scenes in it though.
Hottest animes right now are Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer. They should be easy enough for you to get a handle on.
And I will of course once again recommend that everyone give Haikyu!! a go. And One Punch Man, Mob Psycho 100, One Piece, My Hero Academia and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Give any of those a proper go and they'll hook you.
Exo One still not showing on console Game Pass, but it's installable via the console store. (Shows up on mob app and queued it via that, but that didn't add it to console queue *shrug*)
Weird. But I don't mind a bit of quirkiness as long as there's a workaround.
Exo One: I dunno what I was expecting, but the method of gaining momentum as a ball and flying as a disc is certainly interesting. Though I dunno if losing control when zipping about as a ball at max speed is intended or not. (Feels kind of off that, at full speed, you veer off and on to one side, instead of rolling on ahead. Holding RT partially down stops the veering from beginning. Sometimes.) Made it to the second planet and will leave it at that for the night.
I did it in the first lockdown, the originals, 2&3 anyway. I COULD do a new play through where I’m full Renegade and a massive dick to everyone though!
Yesterday Xbox released a video to highlight their game streaming option for Game Pass Ultimate is coming to consoles. Halfway into the video there is a brief clip that is tightly cropped of a player shooting a revolver at some robots in a FPS. This appears to be from Cyberpunk 2077 and as we all know, they usually only highlight games in their Game Pass service in Game Pass videos. The revolver that is being fired is the Overture and features the same distinct notches along the barrel and the centered bolt above the cylinder. When I posted on this earlier /u/Dalthdan found the exact clip in the Cyberpunk 2077 Official Gameplay Trailer confirming that it is indeed Cyberpunk in an official Game Pass video. This is still speculative since there is no confirmed date, but since The Witcher 3 and Thronebreaker have been in Game Pass before it is not impossible for them to strike a deal.
I thought this was gonna be another Goat Simulator and though it takes a while to get used to the camera and controls (turning camera sensitivity down really helped) it's A LOT more fun than Goat Sim.

Generation Zero joined today, an open world game based in Sweden in 1990, 4 player co-op survival game where you have to fight against robots/cyber things.
Also - today it got a huge patch and for the first time ever it's 60fps on Series S/X!

I remember being tempted by that when it was released, but didn't want to pay for it! Gamepass wins again!
