Unfortunately the two are:
Complete the game without collecting any health power-ups
Complete the game in under an hour

Using a video to make sure I stay on pace, but it’s damn challenging. Good fun though. (May revise opinion when I get stuck on a boss.)

I love this game. It is really underappreciated.

Yeah, it’s great. I saw a couple of one-star user reviews and I was genuinely furious. Idiots saying it’s too difficult. It’s one of the downsides of Game Pass, that someone can play a game for 30 seconds and give a dismissive rating.

Been playing this since reading that. I normally hate difficult games, but this isn't difficult in the way I hate.

So far, it feels really balanced and fair, introducing new elements at the right time, letting you explore, then adding something else.

It's 'tough' in the way Super Metroid could be. I think if it had those graphics rather than the humorous ones it does, people wouldn't give it those stupid reviews. But I like the clean art style and humour too.

Unlike a big new game, it's the kind of thing I can see me picking up in a sale for a few quid once it's gone from GP.

Yeah, it’s not really that difficult. Those reviews were criticising the boss battles as being impossible, which is just stupid.

Boss fights in Gato Roboto are just pattern recognition. They aren't difficult once you figure out what to do.

I’d pretty much dismissed Rain On Your Parade, based on the rather crappy storefront artwork, but that looks like a lot of fun, in a “Goose Game but positive” kind of way.

Yeah, first i have even of heard of that game, but just read a couple of reviews and it sounds like fun. Will be a good one to play between extended stints of Disco Elysium. Think i will start it tonight.

Just finished Gato Roboto. What the strawberry float is with the shitty reviews? It's great. GREAT!

As the saying goes, some people just want to watch the world burn.

And maybe something to do with them not giving it a chance.

I know! It's a blast.

Another Devolver published game I liked is Pikuniku. I think it's on Gamepass still.

Downwell is also really strawberry floating great.

Rain On Your Parade seems a bit basic, but it is fun. There’s one particularly amusing moment, not far in. I won’t spoil it, but it’s the level with the megaweapon.

I loved Pikuniku too.

Couldn't get on with Downwell, but then again I was drunk when I tried it, so probably need to give it another go when I'm coordinated.

I'm loving trying out all these bite sized kind of games and hearing people's recommendations.

Downwell is an incredible game, I poured a hell of a lot of time into that when it first came out on mobile

I've only really been paying attention to this rewards point business for about a week or so but I'm already at over 3000 points with basically no effort. At this rate it seems like I'll have "earned" a free month of Game Pass within about 6-8 weeks!

12k here, was going to swap for game pass, but feel its better to get a few more ea passes and use the money towards gift cards on the store. Should be able to get quite a few free games a year.
