Unfortunately the two are:
Complete the game without collecting any health power-ups
Complete the game in under an hour
Using a video to make sure I stay on pace, but it’s damn challenging. Good fun though. (May revise opinion when I get stuck on a boss.)
I love this game. It is really underappreciated.
Yeah, it’s great. I saw a couple of one-star user reviews and I was genuinely furious. Idiots saying it’s too difficult. It’s one of the downsides of Game Pass, that someone can play a game for 30 seconds and give a dismissive rating.
Been playing this since reading that. I normally hate difficult games, but this isn't difficult in the way I hate.
So far, it feels really balanced and fair, introducing new elements at the right time, letting you explore, then adding something else.
It's 'tough' in the way Super Metroid could be. I think if it had those graphics rather than the humorous ones it does, people wouldn't give it those stupid reviews. But I like the clean art style and humour too.
Unlike a big new game, it's the kind of thing I can see me picking up in a sale for a few quid once it's gone from GP.
