It's a bummer, the service is definitely lacking in newer AAA games when that disappears.

I just read the Polygon review, it looks really good. Double Kick Heroes looked like the first game i might buy on Switch for some time. That's not happening now

With the money i'm saving with Game Pass i can see myself retiring about 3 years early.

Cool. I'll give resi 7 a spin. Loved it in Psvr. Want to play through again and maybe get the dlc if it's cheap.

The same happened with GTA:V, Rockstar obviously don't let MS have the games up for very long.

To be honest it didn't really grab me. Part of that is probably down open world fatigue and Game Pass and the like means I do have a tendency to not stick with games but I never really had an urge to go back to it.

It's certainly a divisive game. I found it the most immersive game since The Witcher 3, but i do try and steer clear of playing too many open world games. I never understood the complaints about the button mappings being fiddly, and people shooting other people instead of saying hello etc. That did not happen to me once in my entire play through.

I enjoyed what I played but I just didn't find it compelling enough to keep playing. As stupid as it sounds I think I need a few more checklists in my open world games.

I tried playing it while I have The Witcher 3 on the go which probably didn't help

That's a pretty dense pair of games to have in your rotation at the same time!

Finished The Touryst yesterday - great game. Looking forward to starting Spiritfarer tonight. Or Man of Medan. I have not decided yet.

Not to sound like a dick but surely y’all should have known that RDR2 wouldn’t be around long, after GTAV’s somewhat fleeting appearance. At least it’s relatively cheap now...sort of.
Looking forward to trying Spiritfarer but ‘management’ games aren’t usually my thing. Definitely not looking forward to playing Resi 7 again, just pure trauma from start to finish.

I really miss the DNA tracker, which has been absent from the last two Assassin's Creeds. I've just played through AC3 again, and it's so satisfying to see the tracker fill up, and to know you've done everything. I get why it's less suitable for the way AC is now, but it's a shame it's gone.

I’ve got Cumberdanes coming to mine for a sesh 2 days after it drops onto Gamepass - he had to do a boss fight for me that I just couldn’t do last time I played it a couple of year back, so I’ve timed it quite well.

Which one? He watched me strawberry floating fumble at the very first boss for a full hour last night, he could've maybe stepped in and done it for me too!

What is he, some kind of peripatetic boss killer?
