Ah, I was sure I knew that name from somewhere! It’s very different though!

Right?! Always amazes me (even though it shouldn't) when devs make such huge departures from one game to the next.

(And I spotted a AAC figurine in the first room.)

:x

And that's why NHLPA '93 > NHL '94.

(But seriously, it was great playing it again.)

Spoilers for unpacking stage 5.

As soon as I saw the boyfriend’s apartment in stage 4 I knew it wouldn’t last. His ultra neat everything-must-match aesthetic just clashed with your own style in a way you could tell he’d think you were ruining it. And barely clearing any room for you? Clearly he really didn’t want you there. Really nice touch with the photo of the two of you together when you move back in to your parents.

Just this second done that bit, and that was the last item.
Then I realised where it had to go. Out of sight. Emotional. Also, certain items, like the now-cracked bathroom mug, and the ripped pig toy.

Not being able to put the diploma on a wall unless it was above the toilet was the surest sign that things wouldn't last long to me.

Great little game.

It wouldn't let me do that! Had to hide it under the bed! :(

Enjoying Carrion despite the lack of map. But what's up with the way the UI is squeezed beyond the screen in the corners?

Unpacking is surpridsingly addictive and tremendously wholesome.

Chapter 7 thoughts

Judging by the absence of male cllothing to go into the wardrobe I feel its safe to assume the character is a lesbian (or bisexual) and its their girlfriends stuff in the white boxes.

Also discovered a neat trick when putting clothes on hangers; put the clothing on the bed then stack the hanger on top and you can move them both onto the rail at the same time

Edit: my above observation was correct.

Kill It With Fire is much more fun than I expected.

Well Unpacking is a perfectly charming game, isn't it?

Apart from the blatant misandry.

It's not bad, but it has not nearly as moving (heh) or impactful to me as some reviews seemed to suggest.

Maybe its because i haven't got to the earthquake that happens at the end yet.

Also, that dudes black ash furniture bachelor pad was on point. About 20 years behind the trend, but im guessing that's a North American thing.

I'm not convinced Football Manager on a console is going to be great, but as it's on GP may as well try it out.

Bought the DLC for FH4 just now, got it for £15 in the end, really good value all in all.

Edit, started the game up after the DLC had installed and seemed to go through various seasons without actually doing much? Driving around a miniaturised Britain in the Lotus Esprit is great though
