Thought I'd try Dead Space on the PC to make the most of the big machine. Downloaded it, booted it up, and despite launching an Xbox Game Pass game from the Xbox Game Pass app using an Xbox controller connected through the Xbox wireless dongle, Dead Space doesn't recognise the controller. It shows all the menu tooltips with A/B/X buttons, but it isn't picking up any input from the controller at all Has anyone on here ran into that before? Googling it, it sounds like it's a pretty common issue, which seems pretty mindblowing. I've got no idea where to even start trying to fix it, since the controller works with literally everything else I've ever tried to run on the machine!
Wondering if I'm going to end up playing it with the Xbox, EA and Steam apps up in the background so I can use Steam's controller overrides
EDIT: Think I've got it - If I disconnect my spacemouse, it works. Why Dead Space defaults to thinking a CAD mouse is a controller is anyone's guess!

Thirsty Suitors out tomorrow, 4 out of 5 from EG -
Thirsty Suitors is a confident swing that takes commonplace romantic mishaps and turns them into epic, queer spectacles. It'll have you thinking about all the great people you hurt because you were young and dumb. It'll make you type out a heartfelt text to someone who's basically a stranger now, shortly before deleting it and coming to your senses. But most of all, it'll remind you of how easy it is to catch feelings... for these characters... in a totally chill, non-committal way.
