Xbox Game Pass - Harold Halibut, Botany Manor, LEGO 2K Drive, Diablo 4, Evil West, Control:UE, Dead Island 2 out now

Following on from recently completing Quantum Break and Sunset Overdrive I've moved onto a few other Game Pass games.

Firstly I was playing a bit of Recore. I'd not long got the second companion robot when I think I hit a bug that stopped my progress. My initial impressions had been okay but it wasn't anything particular special and the gameplay was getting a little repetitive so might not return to this.

Next I tried Crackdown 3. I remember enjoying the first and bypassing the second, but initial impressions of the third are not good at all. The auto lock on targets makes shootouts dull and the presentation in general seems very lackluster. Don't think I'll be sinking anymore time into this one.

Might look into Hellblade or Gears 4 or 5 next.

No, that's not correct. You can't downgrade while your sub is active, but you can let it expire and then sign up for just Gold again if you like.

Finally finished my downloading over the weekend. Around 450Gb I think in the end :lol:

Started The Outer Worlds but it didn't grab me much so went for something different and replayed (& finished 100%) Brothers - Tale of Two Sons instead. Love that game.

Also a quick 12 mins on Rocket League at 1am this morning saw me get 170 GS in no time.

This Game pass is going to do wonders for my cheevos! I've gone months without any, and all of a sudden I've earned 1200 in a weekend :slol:

Darksiders Load times are insane, when you die it takes ages to comeback.

Loved Dead Cells, it was convenient having access to it via Gamepass. Would recommend it.

Really can't wait until the Final Fantasy games start dropping.

The Talos Principle - It’s like this game was made just for me. But after an hour I got that creeping dread realisation... motion sickness was setting in. Going to try it in third-person tonight. Not the way I wanted to play it, but it might prevent the vom-queasiness.

I'm really enjoying Crackdown 3, it is scratching the Assassin's Creed itch of being easy to play but fun enough to not be a slog.

If it isn't in a GotY contender list then said list is pish. Not only is it an excellent game but the dev has supported it since release and not charged for it. It's up there with Hollow Knight.

How does the conversion to Ultimate work? What do I need to do?

Looking at the Rewards page on my account, it's got 3 months of Game Pass at 12,750 (I'm guessing that's because I'm at 'Level 2').

3 months of Ultimate by itself is 35,000, an Xbox Gift Card is 5,850, and 1 month of Xbox Live Gold is 6,800.
