Wow, just done it, and now I'm covered until May for the grand total of bugger all. M&S even threw in another free month if I accepted recurring billing.

Thanksgiving. :datass:

£13 in Argos so marginally cheaper to buy it that way and keep your reward points. You can spend nectar points instead

Great price. I’m nowhere near needing one yet but I might grab a couple to extend it by six months. They’re stackable, right?

Launching into Xbox Game Pass next week -

Halo Reach (3rd Dec) - XB/PC
My Friend Pedro (5th December) - XB
Demon’s Tilt (6th December) - XB
Wandersong (6th December) - XB

https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2019/11/29/ ... er-3-to-6/

It's a new games on XB1 only post so Phoenix Point (3rd), Demon's Tilt, My Friend Pedro etc will probably join PC GP plus old games on both.

Nice, almost bought Wandersong in the Switch sale. Will hold on for GP release now though.

Recently tried/completed the following on GamePass:

Halo 4 (campaign) - Good, but didn't really blow me away. Essentially just more Halo - which has always been a franchise that I like rather than love. 7/10

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice - Didn't complete this. It's a beautiful game with some interesting themes and presentation. Unfortunately the basic game play mechanics didn't really interest me and the difficulty/lack of explanation meant I bounced off it after 3 or 4 hours.

Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition - Very good. The art style is beautiful and the game play is varied and challenging. Some moments of frustrating trial and error - particularly the time pressured escape sections - but not enough to take away from the game as a whole. 9/10

Gears 5 - Only just started this. Seems good so far (looks great), although I am pretty hopeless with the cover mechanics!

Personally halo 4 is by far the worst in the series for me.

Yeah I'd probably go along with that of the entries I've played. Still haven't played 5 or Reach though.

I didn't think 4 was a bad game, just not a very good one. It felt rather like a Halo by numbers, offering nothing special.

Forgive my ignorance, does game pass work like PSN? Where you have to add games to your library each month to be able to play them?
Or do you get access to all in 1 hit?
