Thanks for the invite to the community. Anyone who wants to compare progress against someone who typically plays quirky games please add me! Kiryu x Majima.

I can see Gamepass absolutely consuming my play time. So much good stuff there. Where can I get the earliest warning of stuff that is to be rotated out? Is it on a Twitter feed etc? Would hate to be cut off half way through a game!

There is definitely a decent difference, I would personally say though that HDR is the biggest change.

Normally a couple of weeks before, and they're pretty much always posted on this here good forum. If you want to check yourself they add a section to the Game Pass library called 'leaving soon' but this isn't there all the time so you have to check often.

Will add you shortly. :-)

They'll be a section in the Game Pass part of the Dashboard or it'll be here usually in the middle of the month - https://www.trueachievements.com/xbox-game-pass/news

I've pre-installed Crackdown 3, didn't realize Campaign and MP are different tiles completely (2 diff games essentially). Gamepass is kinda flooding me with stuff at mo, It sounds retarded but they kinda have more than I have time to play. I mean I loved Mutant Storm and Ashen but with SotTR and Crackdown 3 as well as lots of others I can't find the time.

EDIT: just realised 3 of the games in my sig are on Gamepass and Apex is FTP. :slol: :fp:

"How Xbox's 'Netflix for games' is expanding players' horizons" -

In fact Matt Percy, head of planning for Game Pass at Microsoft, says players' game time generally increases 20 per cent once they join Game Pass, and the number of different games they play goes up by 40 per cent.

New, big-name games that go into Game Pass see their active playerbase grow by a factor of two, Percy says, and older games see an average six times increase (but sometimes as high as 32 times).

"On average we see a 25 per cent increase in franchise pre-orders and a 10 per cent increase in franchise sales coming from games that go into Game Pass," Percy says. "And that’s coming from Game Pass members discovering they really love franchises and following along with them".

For example Human Fall Flat is a game that was very successful on PC, but as a physics-based puzzle game you might expect it wouldn't do as well on console. Percy says Game Pass members have played more than 3 million hours of it to date, and 40 per cent of those players had never played any puzzle game before.

So just one episode from RER2 is leaving? I wanted to play this game, but have no chance of finishing it before end of Feb. Does this mean if I have progressed beyond this episode by the end of the month, I will be able to keep playing the reminder? It's like the Battle Royal of subscription services, where you have to keep above the cut before the timer expires!
Not a criticism of the service btw, just interested if this is likely to be the requirement for me to continue playing RER2 on Gamepass post Feb.

Best not start that one then. Thanks for clearing that up. I can focus on one of the many other games I want to try. I'm guessing the Microsoft games are ever present?

No Microsoft games have been taken out so far. There was a lot of speculation on the subject a while back after a rather vague statement they made, so I think MS wouldn't do it now for fear of a massive backlash.

Yeah I rinsed that quickly when it popped up on the leaving list. It was alright.
