Eek, I'm cutting it fine to complete Morkredd before it leaves. There was one bastard of an Achievement, which has only just popped. Now I just need to complete the last third of the game in "co-op" (solo, with a pad in each hand!).

Just a heads up - I've just bought Ghostbusters Remastered, so it'll now be on GamePass next week

Generation Zero has an astonishing first impression, it’s like Half-life 2 meets War of The Worlds. The robots are scary AF and at the start you only have a pistol which doesn’t damage them much.

Indeed. I mean the game works well that way, since you're only using half the controller anyway. Co-op playthrough took me less than two hours after the first (no death) run took ages.

I played Morkredd when it first came to the service. I thought it was really good. Such a strong sense of style and tone, and the perfect length for a game of it's nature.

Aliens coming is great news for me - haven’t played it yet, but hopefully there’ll be a real shot in the arm for player base. Nowt worse coming to a game late and not being able to find a decent match.

Aliens Fire team is awesome, as good as Back4Blood. Being an Alien fan it's just perfect.

Great move by the devs to lean into the Alien Isolation Lore also - Seegson androids etc...

I got Aliens on launch and have played it most days since. In fact, I'm just about finished with it now, just going to get 1 more achievement for healing a teammate 100 times.

I'm not surprised it's came to Game Pass, I don't think player numbers have been very high. For the vast majority of the time I've played with bots. It doesn't help that people can't join a game, replacing a bot, once it's started.

Started Deeer Simulator last night :slol: Can't actually beat the Doggo boss, though. Was trying to flatten the town to get a decent amount of weapons, but then I end up losing health fighting the police, and getting battered when the big dog calls his reinforcements :slol:

Should I be going into the fight with the Metal Deer instead?

Also - today it got a huge patch and for the first time ever it's 60fps on Series S/X!

That trailer reminds me of a series of artwork by some Norwegian (or Swedish) artist whose name I can't remember, they were all set in an alternate post apocalyptic 80's where a science experiment has distorted time.

Had them as desktop backgrounds a while ago but can't find them now, which is a shame as they were brilliant.

Edit: The artist is Simon Stålenhag.
