Downloading the Master Chief Collection, probably won’t be playing it anytime soon but at least it’ll be good to go when I do.

I don't think I can manage to physically play it myself but the soundtrack (by Danger, which I stumbled upon the other day) is bloody brilliant.

Do many of you take advantage of the ‘buy to own’ perks of Game Pass? I’m on the fence about whether to take advantage of the sale on for Christmas that’s on at the moment, Halo MCC for £18 for example, Ori 1&2 for £4 & £12.50 respectively. Obviously not going to buy everything I’ve played but some of the ones I’d probably go back after my Game Pass has lapsed (unless I go for the 3 years asap after my 3 months has finished) I’m tempted by.
Didn’t realise ODST and Reach were in the MCC as well! Any reason why Halo 5 isn’t then? Is it worth playing (only played 1 to 3 and 3: ODST myself).

Halo 5 was the first/only Halo to launch on the Xbox One, wasn't it? The MCC is a compilation of everything leading to that.

Didn’t realise that, thought one of 4/Reach originally launched on the One as well, makes sense then.

Remember when I spoke to John Lewis CS and they said they expected them in this week from 14th? Well I have just been checking them at different points in the day and luckily they popped up yesterday morning so I grabbed one.

According to Jelly Deals, Amazon might be your best bet now but it seems unlikely before Xmas now, I’ll keep an eye out and see if any pop up anywhere else

Just looked at the Dashboard on my XBO and they have 3 months of GamePass for £1 so I just signed up 
I’ll probably play Gears 5 then go into Hivebusters after.
Looking at the Xbox sales, they have the Xbox 360 Silent Hill collection on sale.....was it really that bad? Did it never get sorted even for Xbox BC?
Also, they have Sunset Overdrive edition on sale for £4.99 which contains the season pass. I already own Sunset Overdrive on disc but this is the cheapest way to get the Season Pass......did anyone try the extra content on this and was it any good?

Got Game Pass today for £1 for 3 months. Even if I cancel that's insane value and Tetris Effect Connected was why I got it. Any other good recommendations?

The only annoying thing about this is that there's loads I could recommend.
Quite apart from the big things like Halo 5 or Gears 110, I spent a happy few hours playing Pikuniku (spelling imagined).
Depends what kind of thing you like.
Actually, forget that... I'd say just use the first month or so to just go crackers, try everything you think you'd like. You'll maybe find something from a genre you never previously played that gets you hooked. That's the joy of it!

I'm completely addicted to Slay The Spire, and it works brilliantly on a phone with touch controls too.

Loving playing through Ori and the Blind Forest again 
looks drop dead gorgeous on the Series X too. I’m approx a 1/3 of the way through so hoping to make some solid progress this evening, with how relatively easy backtracking is in this even going back for the odd extra life/energy cell isn’t an issue. Can’t wait to play the second one too.

Yeah, I like they give you the option to buy the games you like at a discount, i probably won’t keep GP up past the 3 months I have but it’s a great service to trial games on to see if they are worth picking up
