Xbox Game Pass - Harold Halibut, Botany Manor, LEGO 2K Drive, Diablo 4, Evil West, Control:UE, Dead Island 2 out now

That is a nice update. Been wanting to play Jurassic Park Evolution for a while and will definitely give the Falconeer a spin.

Shadows of the Damned has aged really poorly but it’s not bad, per se.

I really need to get into the habit of playing stuff that's on Game Pass. I don't mean force myself to play something I don't want, but there's so much on there I really want to play, but I keep picking out games from stuff I own when looking what to play next. I didn't realise stuff left EA Play. Might try and squeeze in Shadows of the Damned.

Excited to try Jurassic Park though. Was always intrigued by it, without being convinced enough to pay up.

Yeah, I dipped back into Shadows of the Damned the other week and it's not great. The gameplay still holds up well but the UI is rough and the sheer number of dick puns just get old real quick.

Yep, I bought Falconeer at Christmas, so that was strawberry floating inevitable.

I redownloaded NG2 last night weirdly enough, attempted to complete it 12 years ago according to Achievements but gave up on mission 7 or 8. Gave up on mission 1 this time That camera, holy gooseberry fool. Disgrace.

There is something very rewarding about dropping a game before the sunken cost fallacy kicks in. I played about 30 mnutes of Cyber Shadow before shouting "nope, strawberry float this" and uninstalling.

I actually got a bigger rush from doing that than i do from most games i complete.

My boy has loved Donut County. Other than a few of the puzzles and the boss fight, he's completed the whole thing by himself. Which is bloody impressive for a 4 year old.

Jurassic World has already been given away with Gold by the way, so y'all may already own it.

Noticed last night that they dropped the 'Log in to the Game Pass app on mobile' daily quest. Happy with that because it only ever seemed to register for me about 70% of the time. The 1K quest now only need 20 daily quests instead of the previous 45.

MS rewards remain the best kept secret in gaming. I had 100,000 in the middle of december. I now have 135,000 (about 28 quids worth more), and will get another 2,500 (about £2) in a couple of days for the feb bonus.

I might just go for the expansion drive at this point. Although i would like to get Disco Elysium at (Xbox) launch.

Gonna buy Ninja Gaiden 2, it's 4k locked 60 and gorgeous.

Just tried out Project Winter. It’s quite good fun, if a little confusing initially. I spotted a traitor opening a crate, let some of the others know and we crowded round and beat them to death. The ease with which they believed me makes me think I’ll do the same to an innocent when I’m a traitor.
