I think this X018 event was a success because it underlined that the Xbox One now has a must have unique USP - Game Pass. It's superb value and this will be great for brand loyalty.

Yup. I made the point earlier in the thread that if they bring this to the next console day 1 with an instant library of games, it's going to work out extremely good value.

It's almost certainly the best thing about Xbox One.

Yeah, if they have Game Pass with first party launch offerings on there, combined with a continuation of backwards compatibility improving my older games, that could be quite a compelling offer and have me buying in day 1.

Bought another years worth of Game Pass. Got until March 2021 now. Really surprised we are getting Mutan Year Zero. Looks great.

I had the half price deal once, and couldn't even get the deal for my 2 kids.

Got 6 months for 25 ish, just clicked twice and got the year. Would have gone for longer but happy with that for now.

I read somewhere that it's on until the 3rd Jan, but I can't find confirmation of that anywhere now.

That's for the 1st month for a pound deal, can't see any date for the 50% on Xbox Wire or Major Nelson
