FFXV included is a big deal. Microsoft is killing it with Game Pass.
There's an offer of 3 months of Ultimate for £10.99. I think I'm gonna take it.

I wonder if that means Microsoft will have Cyberpunk 2077 on Gamepass as that would really tempt people to get the service.

With the game pass prices being cheap, Microsoft are surely losing money for third party games? Just curious.

I dunno. The third party games are rarely brand new titles so I would imagine once sales drop, getting some of the Gamepass money is welcome.

That's a fantastic list of games coming out. Game Pass is such good value. There's almost too many games to choose from now haha!

Can't wait for the FF games, means I can properly play them through for the first time.

Decided to start off with Sunset Overdrive which I'm rather enjoying - although as a big Insomniac fan there was always a pretty decent chance of that being the case. It's definitely got that Ratchet and Clank vibe to it with the weapons, but the enemies and traversal are a bit more Dead Rising & Jet Set Radio.

Pretty impressed with the GamePass service though in terms of the amount of games available and the price. Next up will probably be Quantum Break or possibly Gears.

I was really enjoying Sunset Overdrive until it got to the defending the base bits. That made me drop it straight away, as i always get muddled up and could see those bits popping up frequently for the rest of the game.

I really enjoyed QB and gears 1-3 through the Game Pass service. Its how i play nearly all my games now.
I can appreciate the base defence bits can be a little frustrating. I've failed a few times on them, although some bases seem more difficult to defend than others.

I don't think those sections are overly common though. I think I've done it maybe 4 times so far and am pretty far into the game. If you enjoy the rest of the game I'd say to persevere as it's worth it.

Yeah I can see Game Pass taking up a decent amount of my gaming time for the foreseeable future with so many games to catch up on!

That's good to know, thanks. Maybe I will go back to it.

And Tracks looks like a fun diversion. I wouldn’t have bought it, but I’ll happily try it.

As a Game Pass noob who only picked the service up recently what kind of length of time do individual games tend to stick around on here? Am I right in thinking that Microsoft Game Studios games that are on the service will stay there permanently whilst third party stuff is only available for a set period?

I get that but Yakuza games is “new” for the X Box owners unless they have a PS4.

I’d imagine the developers are happy ($$$$$$ from MS) and MS will be happy as they secure more reasons for people to sign up to a subscription service.

Rage 2 is available on PC, also.

Just grabbed the 3 months of Ultimate for £1 offer. Ludicrous.

You also get 6 months Spotify Premium, 1 month EA Access and 3 months Discord Nitro if you have never had any of them before.

EDIT: I think Nitro is actually for existing Nitro members only.

The EA Access month is available for non-current members as well. I assume you can play the start of Jedi Fallen Order right now with it.

Does anyone know how Game Pass works for the publishers in terms of revenue share out of curiosity?

Do they get a fee based on how many people download/play their game or is it a one off payment? The amount of value from the Pass is boggling at the moment.

Just signed up for the 3 months of Ultimate at £1. I'd just been on an intro to Game Pass PC for the last month which had also only cost me £1 so I'll have had 4 months of Game Pass action for just £2. :datass:

God damn, I hadn’t thought of that. Starting to wonder if I’ll ever buy games again.
