Ninja Gaiden 2 from outta nowhere, such an odd inclusion. I don’t think it was too bad, from vague memory.

Aye, NG2 was great.

Excited about Jackbox 3, those games are always a bit with friends and family.

Didn't MS say February was going to be amazing? So far the games that are leaving are much better than those added.

Oh Yakuza, nice. Everyone has been banging on about that for so long that I pretty much have to try it now!

They didn’t hold back on the rats, did they? Also enjoying it, but pacing myself - a chapter a day - as it feels like each chapter is a good chunk of game to play in one go.

I really wanted to feed the little brother to the rats when he started saying “acky duck”.

I finished it a couple of nights ago. Liked it but ended up not loving it. But in general I hate stealth games, this one was very forgiving which worked for me.

The latest round of casualties has been announced for both Xbox Game Pass for Console and Xbox Game Pass for PC. Shenmue, Shenmue II, Lichtspeer: Double Speer Edition and Thimbleweed Park will be leaving both services. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is set to leave Xbox Game Pass for Console, while Titan Quest Anniversary Edition and Apocalipsis will be leaving Xbox Game Pass for PC.

The expansion of Game Pass quests was initially welcome, but maybe they’ve decided they were giving away too many points. The Quest Completionist reward has been reduced from 1000 to 100 points. So for completing 45 daily and 15 weekly quests in one month you get... 10p. It’s pathetic.

I noticed the huge cut in points as well. That's really annoying as I was getting close to enough points for 1 month Gamepass Ultimate. :x

Yeah, disappointing. The points were enough to really incentivize me to log in regularly and try new games/ more games. Its really not worth it now, though i guess i will still earn more points by simply playing than i did on the initiative before last, where you had to go in to the rewards app on the Xbox itself. That was trash. At least i will continue getting a very small number of points for doing pretty much what i would be anyway.

Last month I installed and played a few games that I had dismissed. To be fair, I did not decide to continue playing any of them after getting the Quest Points, but I may have. The low points now means that I won't bother using the bandwidth to bother.

Gave Yakuza 0 a quick bash last night, it's early days as I didn't get very far at all, but so far it seems very ropey and disjointed. It really feels like a couple of generations out of date in terms of the feel of the movement and just how limited and small the environments are in terms of scale and interactivity. There were also about 5 different styles of dialogue / cutscene implementation within about the first 20 minutes - really awkward to keep adapting to!
