Exactly the same, Game Pass Ultimate is often half price, whereas actual credit is hardly ever discounted.

The meta for ultimate seems to be see what games are in the gold sale when credit is on sale (xbox or microsoft as they are interchangeable) and spend spend spend!

I’m personally finding lots of Game Pass content to be unappealing at the moment but it’s still great value. The waiting game goes on for a game that’s going to suit my tastes, I guess. I recall that the intend to roll out all of the ‘modern’ Final Fantasy games, not bad for people with time to kill.

I started GTA V last night (having completed it way back when it released on 360). Really enjoying it so far, playing it all in first person mode, which is proving tough but fun.

Kinda want to finish Yakuza 0 before starting Kiwami so no doubt it'll be a while. I think ill give DayZ a rest and focus on more sp games at mo.

GTA5 leaves on the same date.

I cant see the embedded links! Is it RDR2 joining and GTA5 leaving on the 7th may? If so, that's bittersweet as i started GTA 5 2 days ago and am loving it..... But didn't particularly want to blitz through it. But i had been thinking about buying RDR2 based on how much i have been enjoying GTA5!

RDR2 >>>>> GTAV (as a SP game, it’s the opposite for online)

Dunno about XB store, but on PSN it's quite common to see GTAV on a very deep discount. So you may be able to pick it up very cheaply, if you do miss out on finishing it on GP.

A physical copy of a game will work with a game pass save right? GTA V specifically? I’m sure it has been under a tenner in the past, and I’m prepared to wait.

On a more cynical note, how long do we expect RDR2 to remain in the service? 6 months or more? It’s a pretty long game by all accounts, I hope it’s not going to only be there for 3 months or so, when the majority of people will not have completed it.
I have faith in Game Pass fundamentally being consumer friendly, Rockstar? Not so much.

I doubt they would bother paying to bring a game like RDR2 onto the service and only have it for a limited time.
It would also make for an easy upscaling job for series X so I can't see them taking it down for quite a while.

Only console version to offer a locked 30fps and full 4K throughout. It’s very pretty.

Also, it’s about 108gb’s!

I don't see me ever getting round to FFXV (do i only download games with Roman numerals in them?) so i think i might be back in the black with the removal of those two titles!
