Given i'm not a massive fan of Metroidvanias, and get easily lost in games, i'm almost resigned to dropping it immediately
It has been worth playing just for the first half though to be honest, the difficulty of the boss fights etc have been just right for me (so far). I have really enjoyed the humour as well. Shopkeeper has probably become my favourite NPC ever after 2 days playing! The hat scene might have cemented it.
