Looking forward to having a go at xcloud tomorrow. Picked up a Pixel 3a XL - my first android phone. Apple have missed a trick. They've lost at least one customer due to not letting this on their platform.

Quick question here.

I have Gamepass ultimate but don't have a PC so could I give my account details to someone I trust who has a PC but no xbox so they can use the PC stuff? Can both the PC and xbox be signed in at the same time so we could play multiplayer?

Hey everyone, quick question. Is the Xbox console streaming function now available to the masses? The game streaming app I’ve downloaded gives me a “not available in your ring” message which suggests it may still be in preview? Cheers.

Yep it's available to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. It's the Xbox Game Pass app you want, a 'Cloud' section has been added to it:

Cheers for the quick response Garth. I might be missing something here (hence the question) but I was looking to stream a game I own on the Xbox console to an Android device elsewhere in the house.

I’m an Ultimate GamePass subscriber and have apps installed on an Android tablet (Xcloud tested and working on this) but I’m not clear how to see my own Xbox game library on the Android device? Am I missing something or is it not available outside the preview programme yet? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Yeah it's just the games that show up in the Cloud section of the app that are available to stream so far.

Hoping you guys can clarify something for me. I'm new to game pass but looking into it it looks great, however I updated my gold subscription in June. So I have 9 or so months left on it, I saw today there is an upgrade function where I can pay £1 to upgrade my xbox gold to ultimate pass. Which sounds great.

Couple of things that aren't too clear, will the remaining duration become ultimate pass without having to pay any more (i.e. I won't get charged £1 every month, or just the first month is upgraded at £1)? If so what will happen when it ends, will it renew or just expire? Or will it be based on the ratio on the link below, it reads as if that is just for gold codes where people already have ultimate pass?

Just want to check as the £1 upgrade seems like a great deal, especially with EA Play joining ultimate pass soon!

The remaining balance is upgraded for you. It's an insane deal, but you only get one shot at it. Highly recommended to stack Gold for three years before you do it, that's what everyone else has done (3 years is the maximum).

Ah, thanks! That is a good deal, I'll see if I can find a cheap 12 month gold code!

Doing that really does make Ultimate one of the best deals in gaming ever.
Even if all you got is Microsoft games it'd be good but the extra's and now EA access make it a bargain and a half.
I can see a whole lot of people only needing to buy a couple of extra games a year at most that won't be on the service and if they have the S it's a seriously cheap new generation.

I'm not trying to be an xbox fanboy as I'm getting a PS5 as well but the value of super cheap ultimate and a £250 console is a strong proposition from Microsoft.

It'll be hard for Sony to match that let alone come up with a better deal.

Xbox Game Pass, which has reached a new milestone of over 15 million subscribers. With the addition of Bethesda, Microsoft will grow from 15 to 23 creative studio teams and will be adding Bethesda’s iconic franchises to Xbox Game Pass. This includes Microsoft’s intent to bring Bethesda’s future games into Xbox Game Pass the same day they launch on Xbox or PC, like Starfield, the highly anticipated, new space epic currently in development by Bethesda Game Studios.
