I noticed that too! Definitley a good thing (for the reasons you mention).

MS rewards remain the best kept secret in gaming. I had 100,000 in the middle of december. I now have 135,000 (about 28 quids worth more), and will get another 2,500 (about £2) in a couple of days for the feb bonus.

I might just go for the expansion drive at this point. Although i would like to get Disco Elysium at (Xbox) launch.

Oh...when is Disco Elysium out?

June for Xbox and Switch (last i heard). March for PS4 and PS5. I might cave and get it on PS4 if the Pro version looks solid. I really dont want to wait any longer!

I believe we’ve only announced ‘Summer’ for Xbox and Switch.

Hey Pell, thanks for the correction.

Hopefully early summer. Looking forward to it.

It’s my most anticipated game of the year by a large margin. Just to clarify I don’t believe it’s coming to Game Pass. A bit misleading I have posted about it in this topic. Apologies.

What is coming to Spiritfarer in 2021?

Hello there, Spiritfarers!

The team and I are proud to finally unveil what we’ve been working on in the last few months. We’ll be releasing brand new content for Spiritfarer throughout this year! Without further ado, here’s our Spiritfarer Roadmap!

We have three major updates in the works, all of which will be completely free!

We are currently planning to release them in Spring, Summer and Fall of this year, and they will contain their own set of changes, including new spirits, new buildings, new resources and overall quality of life improvements to the game.

It’s such a lovely game. I should go back to it but the grind started getting to me. I think about it a lot though and was pleased to see the recognition it got in Giantbombs game of the year talk.

According to the Xbox Game Pass app, another five games will be leaving the service soon. Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight, Oxenfree, The Jackbox Party Pack 4, Vambrace: Cold Soul, and Mother Russia Bleeds will all drop out of the service shortly. The Xbox Game Pass app on Windows 10 is showing that these games will all leave on March 1st, so you have two weeks to grab any achievements you might need from these titles.

Jackbox 4 didn't hang around long. I played it with friend a couple of weeks before xmas, and i think it was fairly new to the rotation (replacing JB3) back then.

Long (VERY LONG) article about the viability of Gamepass and one to disprove the swathes of Concern trolling that goes on about the service.

https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2021-02-17-is-xbox-game-pass-too-good-to-be-true

TL:DR - It's very viable at current pricing and seemingly a good thing for the industry as a whole according to many dev's cited.

Excited to try Wreckfest later. Its a proper single player experience with a progression system (ie start/end) right?

It is indeed. The career unlocks some of the wackier vehicles in the game, such as the lawnmower and busses.

Slightly off topic, but I have a question re Microsoft Rewards please.... can these be exchanged for credit on Microsoft store to buy (put towards the cost of) physical stuff such as Surface laptops, headphones etc?

Has anyone done that successfully? If so, is it the ‘Microsoft Gift Card’ I cash in my Rewards for, rather than the Xbox Credit?

So far I’ve got about 66k Rewards so worth about £55 in credit. If I can put towards physical stuff I’ll accrue as many as I can and hopefully get about £100 off a couple of things I’m looking at.

TIA
