Being dead but a flawless replica of you walking around for the benefit of your loved ones, best of both worlds.

And the cars aren’t even self-driving.

Thing is.. saving a 20 minute walk in Vegas isn't the same as saving a 20 minute walk in any other city. Vegas is a network of connected hotels, malls, casinos and other entertainment venues. You're not trudging through 20 minutes of boring concrete, the whole place is a feast for the senses.

This.

Plus, if you don't want to walk then there's a monorail.

America really has an odd relationship with walking. Nowhere is set up for it, they just drive everywhere constantly. Places like Vegas are walking based out of nessecity as it's just too dense to use a car, so when there's the prospect of being in a car for any reason, they blow their load over it. The whole point of somewhere like Vegas is to be in amongst stuff. What a gooseberry fool concept.

Hyperloop was originally just a scam to get California to cancel their plans to build bullet trains. Elon wants public transport to be crap so that people buy Tesla's.

Yeah it was originally a vacuum sealed tunnel that allowed for crazy speeds. Elon Musk has since admitted it was never going to be built he just didn't want them building trains either.

Remember years ago when on holiday there parents and I walked to a McDonald's for breakfast and the staff nearly fell over in shock when we walked in as the only customers.

Drive through was queued up, no one in the actual restaurant

New York is about the only city with a functional public transport system over there, and even then the roads are just filled with cars.
