Oh really? I haven't looked into the different versions but I have it on my Switch wishlist because I thought I'd get more chance to play it on Switch. If it's quite a downgrade then I'll probably get it on another platform instead. I loved having Bloodstained portable but the trade off on performance irked me when I saw the other versions.

They patched the docked version to run better but Handheld has a lot of reduced effects/downgraded visuals. As i play Switch predominately in Handheld mode this put me off.

I finally got round to starting this, and I’m loving it so far.

I really enjoyed it.
The corpse eater skill is really handy because health packs can become quite scarce. I also used the ability to take control of an enemy unit a fair bit as you can use them as bullet sponges by running into the middle of the enemy and opening fire on them so they then focus on that guy.

I’ll try to remember, for when I get that far. I tend to take these things very slowly.
