If you've seen the show, you'll know why it looks gooseberry fool.

I'm trying to make it look like it was knocked up on a ZX Spectrum on the cheap in the '80s. Look at the way I've lovingly emulated attribute clash!! I could have coded some kind of dithering, but that would be too good for Darkplace.

Unless that was your joke, in which case, I knew that.

And I used the tilemap compressor I wrote to make a cool animation for my sig.

You partake in arcade shoot-em-up-style re-enactments of various scenes in the show.

Sorry, I thought I'd confuse you with my "why" as you did me with your "y". :P

I still can't see how that's a thumbs-up - looks like a woman's hips & thighs to me.]

Thank you for your enthusiasm anyhow.

Coming soon...

Lol, I was making something like this in Blitz Basic at one point. I was trying to make it into a megaman style platformer - you know, typical Ocean licenced fare from "back in the day" when Darkplace would have been produced :)

Never really got much done, but I may have a few sprites still knocking about. Chibi-Garth was awesome, with his cheeky little grin.

Other than the token presence of the main characters, and the fact that the game is theoretically set within Darkplace hospital, the game would have had little or nothing to do with the actual plots of the show... as is traditional with this kind of thing.

I still haven't done much more to that game. I've only got 2 levels done, but I've created a nice framework of code for easy coding of sprite behaviours and how game objects can affect one another it's just a question of coming up with content now.

Why are you coming into this thread and being a huge strawberry floating wanker?

If you can't be encouraging, banana split off back to wherever the strawberry float you came from.

Heh, check out what I found :)

IIRC, the dag sprite is (quite obviously) based off Megaman.

I like it!

I still haven't done anything else on mine. The last coding project I did was Filler Killer (way back in January) - I've been trying to concentrate on producing a demo album lately.

I hate having 2 really demanding hobbies sometimes!

Bah! I wish I'd got here sooner - I could have told you that! :)

But, for elegance I'd #define TWO_PI to save unnecessarily multiplying PI by 2.
