Has anyone ever used this stuff and is it safe, it says dentist approved and can see it has been in the press when doing a Google but can't take as gospel.

Anyone used good or bad?

Even if it is good, I wouldn't trust Amazon with it. Too many counterfeit and dodgy products on Amazon nowadays.

The reviews aren’t very encouraging. Even a lot of the three-star reviews say it didn’t whiten their teeth.

If I was tempted to try it, I’d instead look for a reputable-brand toothpaste with the same active ingredient - Pentasodium Triphosphate.

Strangely enough I am currently using this exact product. :toot:

I does work, but it's slow going. I've noticed that the stains I've been trying to get rid of are noticably lighter and the white is noticably whiter. But if it'll shift them completely I don't know. I'll see where I'm at with it once I finished the jar at which point I might get more, or I might try something else.

I guess like a lot of these products YMMV.

I’ve tried some strips before and it did make the teeth whiter but also made them very sensitive.

I'm not due back until end of July so I will do if required at that point in time.

Just wanted to go back with better teeth, I have switched to an electric toothbrush but by the time my next appointment comes around its like my teeth look bad again.

Whitening your teeth like this is just cosmetic though. 2-3 minutes twice a day with an electric toothbrush and regular flossing should give you good, healthy teeth.

If you really want shiny white teeth I would ask your dentist rather than mess around with kits off Amazon. Won't be cheap but I doubt you'll get much permanent change from those Amazon products.

By far the best (and cheapest) thing you can do to keep your teeth looking white is quit drinking tea or coffee. Of course nobody wants to do that, so it's pointless advice.

Yep. I considered whitening my teeth and spoke to a family friend who's a dentist and she basically said unless you give up tea and coffee there's no point.

That isn't happening anytime soon so I left it.
