It looks decent albeit the streets are very quiet in terms of traffic and people; I guess they'd need to be with the speeds that you're driving at. I'd like to play the game but it's not making me feel that it's worth dropping anything like sixty quid on it.

The night time racing shouts back to Underground which is cool, but I bet it's going to be dragged down by tonnes of boring, unnecessary crap like the last few NFS.

Then there's the microtransactions. This will no doubt you be drowning in them.

I expect they will not be called lootboxes, but will be crew stashes, gear deliveries, "surprise mechanics" or some other term which is the same thing, either that or they go down the battlepass route (which is more time-gated artificial scarcity as well as a "look what you could have won!" for all the people who don't buy them) or copy Ubi and just have every aspect of the game for sale directly. I have zero reason to trust EA about anything so will remain deeply skeptical until they prove otherwise.

Certainly looks better than the last few previous NFS games, but I'll wait for a price drop before I decide to get it.
