I read a few weeks ago that Prometheus 2 is being called Alien World or something, it's being rebranded under the Alien name. I figured that would mean Blomkamps version is being cancelled

It's going to be called Alien: Paradise Lost

Ridley Scott said on the Empire podcast a few weeks ago that it would be delayed so that Alien Paradise Lost could be released first. I hope this doesn't get forgotten about in the meantime.
