I'm still waiting on the sequel to that... and a D9 tie-in game with its own story and some more of those amazing guns.

Four was okay in parts - some of the scenes were fantastic, but I will happily forget it ever happened if it can be retconned out. Swimming aliens...

I watched Aliens the day after I watched (and enjoyed) Alien, must have been quite a few years ago now, and thought it was awful. What the strawberry float was Bill Paxton doing? It put me off so much that I didn't bother with the remaining two films in the box set.

Yeah, I can almost switch off my Alien franchise love and just watch it as a space monster flick. It's quite a fun movie, if a bit silly.
Later on it'll hit you that it's a sequel to Alien/Aliens and it was a huge missed opportunity, but if you can avoid that it's not bad.
