Well of course I don't like every single anime ever made. It was just a general statement that I do enjoy anime.

I think books are cool but I don't think Mein Kampf is worth reading, for example.

I liked the Pokemon anime, up until they introduced monsters outside of the original 150.

I can't be bothered reading it and so I'm waiting for the animated movie.

Also I should stress that I haven't actually read Mein Kampf.

I did buy a copy many years ago when I thought there might be some historical merit in perusing it but I very quickly realised that was a stupid idea and binned it very quickly.

Probably still on some kind of register though, I'd imagine.

Today, Netflix dropped a trailer highlighting its stunning slate of 2021 films, which includes new projects from directors like Adam McKay, Zack Snyder, Amy Poehler, and Alexandre Aja, the final installments of the swoon-worthy Kissing Booth and To All The Boys franchises, and appearances from A-listers like Gal Gadot, The Rock, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Hemsworth, and...well, you get it.

Netflix has roughly 70 films lined up for 2021, and below we’ve rounded up the essential details on every one featured in today’s preview. I expect the majority will be rubbish, but that's a big commitment from Netflix.

About to start the new limited series, Night Stalker.

I know the Richard Ramirez case well so I'm looking forward to this. Well, you know, as much as you can look forward to watching a documentary about a Satan-worshipping serial killer.

The amount of fan girls he got/still has is ridiculous considering his crimes.

I'll probably watch that one as he is an interesting case.

FWIW I have read it, my undergrad dissertation was on Hitler's ability as a leader(spoiler alert - he was surprisingly poor and tended to leave his ministers to fight it out in a kind of political Hunger Games) and it's a good primary source if you ever want to read the scribbled, half-baked ramblings of a strawberry floating lunatic. As with all primary sources, it's safe to read as long as you know the author's bias before you go in. And I mean you strawberry floating well should know what the bias is in this case. :slol:

I'd never buy a new copy though. Don't need that in my bookshelf. :dread:

Just finished it. That was the most extreme serial killer documentary I've ever seen, absolutely incredible in the grimmest and most fascinating way possible. Can't believe I've never even heard of Richard Ramirez, he makes other serial killers look tame by comparison :dread:

. His attacks were so random, no pattern to them and so unbelievably brutal and callous, such a terrifying human being if you could even make the stretch to call him that.

Also big props to the LAPD and SFPD detectives that hunted him down - the police take a lot of (deserved) flak but those homicide detectives seemed like committed and professional dudes who had to wade through gooseberry fool to get their guy. People should be thankful there are dedicated people out there trying their hardest to stop psychos from wreaking havoc.

10/10, incredible programme would subscribe to its newsletter.

Making my way through The Office still, the show really does get better in its final season. There are some great episodes there, the lice one had me in stitches.

Almost done with it, I think I have 5 more episodes to go?

Edit - Finished it. That finale was out-fucking-standing :cry:

First of all, true crime is hugely popular, you're not a weirdo for liking it.
Second of all, Night Stalker is phenomenal - one of the best true crime docs I've seen.

True crime is boss.

Late to the party but absolutely smashing my way through Narcos, onto the Mexican spin-off now. Goddamn what a show.
They’ve added Snakes on a Plane today which I’ve not seen! Looking forward to having a few beers and a chuckle in front of that one.

I tried Narcos but I think after 3 or 4 episodes, I gave up. It just didn't grab me and I don't know why.
