The netflix app does work over 3G too, with some square pixels at the start but it smoothes out eventually after a few seconds.

The recommendation system seems a bit...inconsistant.

"SpongeBob Squarepants recommended based on your interest in: Dexter"

The problem is that Sky Movies has sown up exclusive rights to all the new releases, so if you've got that there's pretty much no point. That said, for older films Netflix looks like it has a good selection.

Does anyone know whether the free trial is linked to your PSN account or your PS3? ;)

No. There's a (teeny-tiny) link to sign up with an e-mail address below the Facebook signup.

Have you filled out the taste questionnaire thing? Recommendations work quite well after you finish it.

I'm pretty sure it's linked to your Netflix account.

Also you can deactivate link up to facebook. If you are having problems signing back in just do a password reset and you'll be sorted.

Most of Brits TV shows (all, to be honest) doesn't have subtitles. A few US shows do and that's good as I can't find The office (US version) with subtitles on DVD so this bodes well.

If they don't update the library regularly, it will get cancelled. So hopefully they do and continue add subtitles too.

One main flaw is that their selections doesn't show if it's subtitled or not. Not a major flaw but it would be nice!

Indeed. Some of us want more of this sort of service, in the vain hope that it'll result in the movie industry not doing stupid things (such as using SOPA and PROTECT IP to destroy the internet).

Just signed up to my free months trial on my 360.

Seems very impressive thus far. Instant streaming, considerably quicker than LoveFilm.

I guess time will tell if they can get the content on it but there already seems like a nice selection already.

Got it working and it has closed captions :D Happy Chappy now.

EDIT: What does £5.99 actually give me? Like how many films can I watch?
And how many devices can I have with one sub ?

Seems pretty good so far. Just started my 1 month free trial and the selection seems pretty good to start with.

The streaming is instant and snappy with a high quality to boot.
