Shame the PS3 is stuck with G only for wireless as if they do HD streams like the US it will be no good for it.

Can't it do the 'download a bit, & then watch film' thing the PSN Store does currently? Pretty much the same thing, as long as you're willing to wait 5 minutes at the start or whatever before commencing viewing.

Wireless G can handle HD streams just fine, I'm sure many people already use wireless G with the PS3 for HD iPlayer.

That is about 4.7Mbps which is well within the 54Mbps of wireless G.

Love Film on takes around 20 seconds or so to buffer in on a 3Meg connection (Standard Def), so I'd be surprised it'd take 5 minutes for HD...

Twitter talk is saying this is launching on Tuesday. Not surprising given that the app is now available on both PSN and Wii.
