Later on there is a scene where the raptors surround the humans then they literally chat (in raptor) to decide what to do. Until a human using a raptor skull, blows into the thing which makes a raptor sound. Blows it a few more times until the raptors leg it.

Currently watching JP 3. 10 mins in and it's gooseberry fool.

The father in Jurassic Park 3 would make an amazing Ned Flanders.

Part 3 had no world building, just drops the heroes into action and hoped for a film. If only the true ending had been filmed. That could have saved it.

Watching a new zombie series "Black Summer".

Given that, (as is often the case with all these types of TV series/movies) , every golden rule to surviving a zombie apocalypse has been broken in the first 20 minutes one can only assume the "zombie" wasn't part of popular culture in these alternate dimensions...

Couple of examples of what's making me scream at the tele in frustration.

"The head mummy strawberry floater! Shoot her in the head!"

"No, do not let this total stranger claiming to be a good Christian into your car! Oh surprise dumb ass, he's just took your car!"

The list of moments go on. In fact it's become quite comical so I might get to the end of the first episode yet. Maybe.

Okay, each episode is only 35 min each. On to Ep2 and after the initial stupidity it's picking up.

It's a prequel to Z Nation. I've watched 6 eps and its just about ok. My No1 annoyance is nobody having weapons, at least have a kitchen knife with you.

It’s not a case of being kind to JW, it’s more JP3 is strawberry floating appalling. But even JP3 looks like a work of genius compared to Fallen Kingdom.

Jurassic World still captures some magic, has great but effects, dinosaur destruction and t rex + raptors Vs new dinosaur was awesome.

I watched part 3 last night and it has no time to breathe, just crap action scene to action scene. The and crash into spino bit was good and the bird cage reveal was well done but even they lack the magic of what the series has been out.

Some good YouTube videos out there about what part 4 would have been like before the soft reboot.... Read them and see what could have been. Jurassic World was great fun, Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom was terrible though.

I did not know that. I had started Z Nation but never got into it. I watched up to Ep4 of Black Summer in the end, so it obviously works on some level. You're right though, grab some weapons God dammit!

On another note, with the school episode it struck me that none of the adults heard of or read Lord of the Flies.

Yeah I gave up on Black Summer after the first episode despite it being something I should enjoy.

The very first story, the parents just monumentally pissed me off. They clearly knew the father had been injured and was likely going to turn, and they made one smart decision in sending the daughter first to get onto the escape truck. Rather than the mother going next though, since she would make it through, the father decided to go first and, as you'd expect, got caught out. The escape truck leaves, the mother and father take shelter in a house and, shockingly, the father turns into a zombie and tries to kill the mother. The mother escapes, father gets shot, then the mother gets all upset and starts begging a soldier to help her get to her daughter.
Well strawberry float you lady. You had a chance to go with your daughter in the first place. You don't get to complain about her being alone, you knowingly let her go alone you stupid bint.

And then the second story, the guy was just a complete strawberry floating idiot just staring off into space whenever something happened that you should be running the strawberry float away from.


I had no idea it was supposed to be a prequel to Z Nation. You sure couldn't tell, Z Nation was stupid but it was fun stupid.
Black Summer also seemed to have a budget.

I’ve not seen any of Black Summer as the trailer just made it look like every other zombie outbreak series/movie.

You just summed up my wife's entire thoughts on the first episode. She was less than impressed and even said "It might be best if the young girl just forgot all about her cretinous parents and found a new family, not one quite as stupid!"
