Is Malcolm in the Middle on any of the streaming platforms? Wanted to show it to the kids during lockdown. Was one of the reasons (along with the simpsons) that we signed up for Disney + as I’m sure the guardian review mentioned it but it isn’t there (at least in the UK)

Shadow (Chinese film) is well worth a watch. It's up on UK Netflix.

Yeah, it was pretty good. Handles the ideas it plays with pretty well, and doesn't get too carried away with the violence, keeping it on the suspense side of the things.

Cannot stand Gervais now. Won't watch anything he's in.

I'm flitting between Kingdom, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Kakegurui XX. (That last one being a very guilty pleasure :slol:)

Is Space Force supposed to be awful? Is that why it's funny, because it's being ironically awful?

Ive just finished watching it. Its light on comedy, the storyline does have a bit of drama. Its more of a light farce. Its not awful, but its not that good. Its set up for a 2nd series, but it poses too many questions as to where it can be taken.

Finished After Life season 2 earlier and I don’t know why I bothered to watch it. I hated the first series and the second was worse. I think I just got roped into all the hype people gave it and decided to give it another shot but the whole show seems to be a case of “let’s try and make a joke where we say banana split” device.

I'm in the home stretch of the 2019/20 season of Terrace House. It's gotten pretty hard to watch, knowing that it led to Hana Kimura taking her own life. I haven't reached 'the incident' yet, but I can't even fathom how she got such backlash from what I've seen so far.

The hosts play such an enormous part in weaving a 'narrative' for the show and the housemates, but I dread to think of the huge character assassination they'd have to pull to turn her into the villain of any scenario. It's honestly scary how the commentary and editing can weave their own version of events.

Three Identical Strangers

Had no idea where this was going to go but the reveal sent shivers down my spine. It left me speechless and very sad. I can't imagine the rage that the the survivors of such an unconscionable experiment must have been left with.

9/10

Rewatching Dark ready for series 3. Anyone know if it's all out at once or weekly?
