I watched it. It's pretty damn good. :msgreen:

Watched the most recent episodes of It's Always Sunny and Rik & Morty. Both really poor actually and didn't get many laughs.

Rik and Morty in particular was just very bad. Didn't seem to have the poignancy that previous episodes had. The violence seems to have really stepped up as well some of it was quite disturbing actually.

Isaip just needs to stop. They've ran out of ideas.

I thought this season was probably the best out of the last 3. But yes I agree that they are struggling for ideas.

Ended up carrying on with Dark and I’m really enjoying it now. Near the end of season 2 and for the most part I know what’s going on all the time so it’s much more enjoyable.

In other news - we can now finally remove stuff from our continue watching rows. :toot:

I noticed it on the phone app earlier. The things in my list had 3 dots next to them, and when I clicked that it says I could remove from row. Unsure how it works on consoles/smart TVs etc but I expect it’s something similar. Maybe update any app you use and that’ll show you the option then.

Our kids loved that too. I thought it was pretty funny myself.

Anyone watched Ju-On Origins? It's strawberry floating weird and I'm not even sure it's any good. Still going to finish it though as it's only short.

Watching White Lines at the moment. Pretty entertaining so far (5 episodes in).

Makes me want to go back to Ibiza though.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existential catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them.

And yes, by the way, i DO have a Rick & Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 8-)

Started watching Midnight Diner with the missus, expecting a nice slice-of-life interspersed with some food porn. Ending up getting that and so much more.

Gonna watch that Fear City that dropped today. Docu series on how the FBI brought down the Mafia in New York with entire wire tap conversations and other evidence just released.

I'm hoping there's a real 'Tommy 2 times' who reads 'the papers the papers.
