Thoughts on the season finale?

Knoyleo wrote:Watched the first episode of Good Place. It seemed OK, but none of the jokes really landed, and it wasn't really laugh out loud funny. Does it get better, or is it just not for me?

It gets a lot better.

It was a really good twist I love where it's going so far in the first two episodes of the new season.

I wonder how many different colours of custom £700 leather jackets he'll have this season.

Hype.

Still wish it stayed even vaguely true to the Douglas Adams stories, though.

The writing though, dude. Just appalling. The main guy is a monumental fanny.

Finally gotten around to watching Gotham. 6 episodes in and thoroughly enjoying it.

Also watched The Punisher trailer. Think I did a bit of sex wee.

The last ten minutes or so were grim. :dread:  Carla Gugino was great throughout though.

I did a marathon today of Stranger Things. It wasn't bad. Actual decent kid actors.

Winona Ryder was kinda bad in it though :dread:

Watched series 1&2 over a couple of weeks. Overall I thought it was great but the end of season 2 was a bit of an anti climax. I sort of wish they'd wrapped it up this season as I don't think there is enough left in this.
