Yeah, I guessed. Was thinking you'd get the joke about Wesker and Umbrella what with your love for Resident Evil.

I also had no idea Wesker was in the films, cause they are doo doo

I really enjoyed Russian doll and I'd be happy if it was left as it is without another series.

One thing I didn't like was that bloody song that kept playing (although I'm sure that was the point). It sounded like the feeling covering the theme tune to bread :dread:

I've never had pay-TV before (beyond the standard TV licence) and, even at this early stage, I'm super-impressed! I had really wanted to see Better Call Saul series 4 and I'm now deep into it. I'm mainly watching via my tablet (as my living room TV is ancient) and it's slick; I like having a watch-list which I can build.

No pics but you can imagine the scene :datass: .

HOLD IT!!! I will be able to watch Netflix on my living room TV... thanks to the power of Wii U! The U can run Netflix :toot: . Will try this out later.

There's one Wii U port that I think most people would like to see on Switch!

Announced by Netflix today, a “new chapter” of “The Haunting of Hill House” will arrive in 2020, and a short video today teases the new haunting. Listen closely to the video below.

Additionally, Netflix has entered into a multi-year overall television deal with Mike Flanagan and Trevor Macy. Following the success of “Hill House,” Flanagan and Macy will develop and produce new series exclusively for Netflix, including an all-new chapter in “The Haunting” anthology, with the next installment chronicling a new story with all new characters.

It will be called The Haunting of Bly Manor. Bly mansion is the setting for the Henry James psychological gothic horror novella The Turn of the Screw, which takes place almost entirely at the old country mansion. It is there where two young orphans are looked after by a young governess and by whom most of the story is narrated by.

That show was really good up until they completely strawberry floated it during the last few episodes.

Luke's episode was great.

I've just started watching The Punisher, after a recommendation from a friend ("it's really violent, you'd like it"). :slol:

It's okay so far (3 episodes in) but the plot isn't really grabbing me. Does it get any better?

You'll never guess what happens in episode 4.

Did you see his arc/introduction in Daredevil S2? I think it helps.

His violent methodology is the main draw over the plot though

And I just cancelled. It's good... there are some cool programmes to watch... but I gotta get real; get to work rather than starting off a subscription on something. Maybe I'll re-join at that point.

Remember you can still watch it until your 30 days are over, I have subscribed and canceled before and then subscribed again, I have Netflix and NowTV and I would not be without them although at the moment NowTV is pretty much only for The Walking Dead, I'm watching Z Nation on Netflix at the moment but I had to stop after season 3 because its not in the UK so I downloaded a free VPN app on my iPad and it worked so I now can watch season 4 and 5,

Out today, 6 episodes -

From the mind of Ricky Gervais, After Life is a the story of Tony, who had an all-too-perfect life. But after his wife Lisa suddenly dies, Tony changes.

He decides instead to live long enough to punish the world by saying and doing whatever he likes from now on. He thinks it’s like a Super Power — not caring about himself or anyone else — but it turns out to be tricky when everyone is trying to save the nice guy they used to know.

Has Ricky Gervais ever done anything decent without having Stephen Merchant around? The Office, Extras, Karl Pilkington and Cemetery Junction are all good or at least decent, but his other stuff is at best gooseberry fool and much closer to appalling.

Edit:

Derek was ok, probably the only decent non-Merchant thing that Gervais has done.

I've only ever watched a couple of them and I wasn't that impressed.
