I hate Netflix's shitty spins on classic literature.

Ophelia, anyone? Just why?

I watched this over the last few nights. Fun and interesting if not particularly great.

Netflix and Ubisoft have teamed for an anime series adaptation of the video game “Splinter Cell”, Variety has learned.

Derek Kolstad, best known for his work writing the “John Wick” film franchise, will serve as writer and executive producer on the series. According to sources, the series has received a two-season, 16 episode order at the streaming service.

Netflix, Ubisoft, and reps for Kolstad declined to comment on the specifics of the deal.

So, A series they're aiming at fans of a niche game from nearly 20 years ago is going to be based on a yet unreleased sequel with an incredibly tenuous link to the original game.

Sounds like a hit.

Watched the first episode of that Transformers show. Not bad. A lot of talky bits, which I don't mind.

Watched all six, I really liked it. Yes it had faults, some of the backgrounds felt way too sparse but that’s cost saving on the animation.

I won’t give any spoilers away, but I found it odd at times as some characters seemed to appear then disappear at times.

Thoroughly enjoyed The Umbrella Academy season 2. 5 is still a banana split which was fun.

I'm 4 episodes into it. It does some interesting (and dark) stuff. I like it so far.

Trying to give The Dark a chance. So. Many. Chances. They needed to reduce the number of characters covered because the pace of the plot is just ball achingly slow. Currently on s1 ep8. Would have been perfect as a book.

Do you mean the German show Dark? If so I'm not sure you'll enjoy the rest of it as it only increases in characters as it goes on

Here's hoping it too doesn't suffer a scheduling conflict. (That being what put Mindhunter on indefinite hiatus.)
