Bond is a good fit for IO. Hopefully it does well for them, the most recent Hitman games were great but disappointing sellers.

Would've been a good 'trailer' for E3 or something, that - nice little build-up and reveal.

Anyway, good to hear of another Bond game on the horizon. The films don't interest me at all these days, but the characters and universe can make for a good videogame. Presumably it won't be an FPS, which immediately saves on the inevitable comparisons to Goldeneye and allows them to avoid trying to imitate or emulate it.

An original story, third-person gameplay, and narrative-driven structure could be quite good.

I kind of miss the optional first person perspective they had in the older Hitman games to be fair, there were times when it was handy!

Hitman 3's VR mode essentially brings it back - providing you have VR!

I hope it isn’t just agent 47 with a wig on. Not everything James Bond does is all stealthy and planning.

I’ll be keeping an eye on this.

I don't know how you play Hitman but quite often what I get up to in those games is far from stealthy and planning!

I always wanted a James Bond game for a long time and now it seems like it "could" be the one. Let's see how it turns out.

Been hoping for a new Bond game for ages, very excited IO are great developers and have done a wonderful job with the Hitman reboot series.
