How long has Crackdown 3 been in development?

Downloaded Crackdown 1 to hype myself up for this. It's as good as I remember - hopefully I can push out the last four achievements I missed the first time around as well.

I honestly don't understand the excitement, it looks absolutely dreadful.

I'll get stuck into on Gamepass but if it gives me that Orb hunting bug again I'll be great.

Genuinely looks like some sort of tablet/phone game from a distance. Looks fairly nuts though. Suitably vapid and knockabout, but Crackdown has never wanted to be Hamlet.

Cool trailer but the last time we saw gameplay it looked like it could have been ripped straight from a GTA 3 knock off.

Have to say I was underwhelmed by the trailer, looks like Agents of Mayhem!

I really want this to be good

It looked like Crackdown 1, not a good thing sure but I wouldn't call Crackdown a GTA 3 knock off.

It looked like a bad Saints Row game. Very underwhelming showing, given the amount of dev time.

I love Terry Crews as much as the next man, but the inclusion of a literal cellshaded version of his Old Spice persona smacks of an office injoke no one had the guts to say wasn't funny.

It was hardly going to change the tone from bat sh*t mental but yeah I didn't really like the trailer, but mostly because it showed no gameplay.

Yeah fair enough, I was going to say it looks like a PS2 game but wanted to be more specific. I'm not sure if a third person shooter can get away with playing like that now.

It was a different era when C1 launched. Most people bought it for the Halo 3 mp Beta and then realized that the game itself was pretty good.

I can't see it breaking any records scoring wise but if it's 4 player co op and bigger and better than C1 that'll be enough for me to play on gamepass.
