Mainly playing CoD: WWII Team Deathmatch at the moment, and today some bastard tried to steal my care package! The cheek!

I wasn't going to pick this up as I played nothing but CoD multiplayer for about 6 months last year. What can I say, I love it. I know it's never been less popular you like CoD as a 'serious' gamer but for me nothing matches how they feel (with the exception of Titanfall 2) and the satisfaction of getting kills. As someone who primarily plays online solo this is still the best option for me.

Do you use the spade? There's nothing more satisfying than sneaking up behind an enemy and using it to bash them over the head.

Not yet. I use the shotgun with incendiary rounds for my cheese gun. I tried the Resistance class for the tactical knife but it just isn't the same without marathon pro and lightweight pro.

So you're one of those shotgun guys eh, i often nick their annoying weapons and use them against them.

I have to say though, the lack of a lightweight/marathon/sprint perk can be very frustrating sometimes.

Yeah they annoyed me so much i though if you can't beat them....

The Airbourne class is the closest to marathon, sprint, etc but you can't use it with the tactical knife.

I mainly use infantry and mountain class, the latter being so i can snipe, thankfully there are some great sniper friendly maps this time around which makes things a lot easier.

My current favourite maps in general are Sainte Marie Du Mont, Carentan Winter and Pointe Du Hoc.

Gone back to Dead Rising 4 and slaughtering hundreds of zombies is brilliant fun.

I'm trying all the classes but Infantry with a loaf of attachments is so much fun. I hate not having rapid fire.

I'm terrible at remembering the map names but I think there is a good mixture this year, all the guns are viable.

Into the Breach

A turn based mech strategy game by the makers of FTL, has elements of XCOM, Advance Wars and the time resetting bit of Live Die Repeat: Edge of Tomorrow.

Have seen a couple of reviews saying its too easy and can be completed in an hour but I haven't managed to get more than a few missions done before everything goes to gooseberry fool and time gets reset, sending you back to the beginning with a slight amount of gained experience.

I agree, it's the best set of maps i've played in ages, Black Ops III only had one truly decent map, and i was so impressed by those in Infinite Warfare, i switched to Modern Warfare Remastered.

Not played anything for a while but yesterday I started Gear Club Unlimited on Switch. It seems fun albeit the races are short... reallly short. Don't think anything has been over two minutes yet and I guess this ties up with its mobile origins. Good, simple racing, though, and I've just gained a second car for my garage.

I really liked IW but I didn't realise how much I prefere boots on the ground. Will you get the first map pack today?

Fifa 18
Still not sure why I've gone to gooseberry fool on this, I played a game yesterday and couldn't string 2 passes together. I don't know if you just have to wait for the game that 'lets' you compete but I'm almost done with this.

Dishonoured 2
Love the world but finding the stealth and combat really unsatisfying. I'll stick with it because it's not overly difficult but I thought I'd like this much more than I do.

Nah, i've never bought any of the map packs, i've always wanted to but there are always a ton of other things i usually have to buy instead.

Still, i did have fun with a flamethrower today...

I loved Dishonored 2, but I really struggled to actually be stealthy in it. If you aren't worried about killing in it, and you are using Corvo, shadow kill and the sight ability are musts.

Don’t the different characters favour a certain play style? I could have sworn I read somewhere that the male is better for stealth.

Started playing Star Wars Battlefront 2. Played the first four missions and finding the game enjoyable, also it's a stunning looking job.

I'm not bothered about killing but I like to make sure I don't get detected for no reason other than it's cool to be an assassin and the game isn't very good at full on combat. I'm finding it a bit hit and miss, on one hand it's cool when you explore and find alternative ways to compete objectives but frustrating when you wind up in a corridor with nowhere to hide and enemies coming at you.

I would have to assume it's Corvo as Emily's powers are various ways of strawberry floating people up.

I’m still playing Shining in the Darkness on Mega Drive. I’m enjoying the game but the inability to revive my characters and having to warp out of the dungeon to do so is getting old.

I played Shinning Force but I just couldn't get into it.

Shining in the Darkness is the first in the series. It's a first person dungeon crawler with typical JRPG battles whereas Shining Force is a tactics game isn't it? I don't usually like dungeon crawlers like this as I tend to get lost but I'm using some maps to help me.
