Far Cry 3
I've completed the main story and am just getting a final couple of achievements and finishing off some of the side missions. Shouldn't take more than an hour now to be fully done and dusted with it. Pretty decent overall, bar a few gripes. Has taken about 35 hours to get to this point.

Xenoblade Chronicles
65 hours in now and I've just got to the first point where I really need to grind. Up to this point I've been coasting really - beating bosses on the first or at least the second attempt, and have had few problems when encountering enemies in new areas, etc - but I've suddenly reached a point where I really need to grind to be able to complete a quest. I don't mind, but it's quite tedious, especially when I've gone all this time without having to spend time purposely levelling up. It's actually put me off returning to it, temporarily, as I know that when I load it up I'm just going to be fighting the same enemies over and over. I probably need to be two levels higher than I am, and it'll take a while I think.

Started playing Dark Souls 3. It's a bit hard. I've gotten to the third world. The graphics are really impressive and it's one of those games that's worth playing just to see whats coming up next. Playing as the Knight as it seemed like the easiest class although seems like it'd be fun to go back and try playing as a magic character at some point.

Amusement under late capitalism is the prolongation of work.

Went back to both South Park FBW and Wolfenstein 2 and while South Park is great and I like the new battles it's not as funny as SoT.
Wolfenstein 2 on the other hand has a brilliant and well written story but I just can't get into the gameplay, shooting is great but no soon as you go on a gunning rampage you're dead, seriously annoying. Loved New Order honestly think it's one of the best FPS ever but this one is just okay.

Started Far Cry 5 today, and i'm very pleased to see that a shovel has been included in the game (though i've not had much of a chance to use it properly yet).

Doom 3 BFG Edition (X1S)

Wasn't aware this had been back catalogued so dug out my 360 copy and installed it on the old X1S.

Think this is about the 5th, maybe 6th time I've been through this and while I thoroughly enjoyed Doom 2016, I still prefer the horror angle of Doom 3.

I played Mega Man Zero Collection on my commute today. Jesus, I can't even beat the first level in the first game. I didn't really like the controls, so I changed them, but it hasn't really helped much.

FML.

And of course, still going through Deus Ex on the PC. It's strawberry floating sweet.

Moved on to Mario and Rabbids after completing Xenoblade, its very different and a great palette cleanser. Still on World 1 but its great so far, Im looking forward to things getting much harder, I heard theres a pretty serious spike a couple of worlds in.

Finally got around to giving Motorsport Manager a go this evening (after buying it when it was 75% off over the weekend), just finished my first race (didn't have much time so just the one for now) and it seems pretty good so far, got a 2nd and 3rd on my first race which I thought was decent enough! Definitely worth it for the £7 or so I bought it for, will have to start a career when I've got a bit more time on my hands.

Started Axiom Verge and Owlboy today.

Axiom Verge moves at a good pace and feels mostly good - just toes the line between frustrating and challenging on some screens. However, there's an annoying flicker effect on screen when playing docked where the colours change.

Owlboy is beautiful and the music is lush, but the controls feel like a mess to me. Every enemy is a panic. Just reached the Owl Temple though, so might take some time to settle in.

Beat that strawberry floater in Megaman Zero this morning, then blitzed through the next through levels. Not sure I like the structure of the game, but it largely feels very good to play. Love the beam sword/gun combo.

Been going through the first few chapters of Detective Pikachu and it feels like a my first Phoenix Wirght game, it's easy and quite basic, but the story is nice and Pikachu is entertaining and the real star of the game.

Good work on taking out all those identical bad guys with a shovel. No one like triplets.
