I can't seem to sit down with this game for longer than half an hour. The combat is really inventive, but I don't find the level design that interesting. It's sometimes very annoying.

It's a shame as I love their other games.

In my case my slashing finger was sore after half an hour.

Loved the game though.

I haven't got to the final boss yet, I'm on world 5. But man alive it's terrible. How do you strawberry float up Bomberman?

I meant the first boss :P

I know they patched it to make it easier, but originally the first boss was basically impossible for bomberman mortals like myself

Getting some of the angles is a pain

Also have some weird issues with the port. I'm playing it on the Wii U, and the game just cuts signal to the gamepad sometimes after you die. It's pretty annoying.

Haha really?

I assume the multiplayer will be fine, but the story mode has this weird angle that makes it awkward to play, not to mention multiple height levels that just confuse you. It's really crap.

You're also playing with the patched viewing angle, it used to be worse

Been playing the Zone of Enders Remaster for PS4 and it's a really enjoyable mech game.

I've fallen in love with Resogun after buying it in the sale. It's weird because I've never been into shmups. I've just started giving it a bash on the next level up from easy as I'm determined to get gid.

Rapidly-greying is Mediocre to Average at games :fp:

Started Life is Strange before the storm and finished first episode just recently, really liking it more than I thought - I initially held out as wasn't sure if I want to pay full price for it but now it's £6 odd on Xbox gold deals I decided to splurge having beaten Prey (twice) and wanted a breather before I jump into next big game.

I also got that free demo for LIS2, think I'll get the second season sometime this year/next year depending on wages

Golf Story for now. I never really liked 2D golfing games .. until now. The story doesn't seem to make much sense but doing challenges and practices are really fun. There's some glitches here and there, but that's about it.
A nice indie Switch exclusive, hopefully it will release elsewhere soon!

Shadow of the Colossus on PS3.

I’ve had this on my hard drive for a while courtesy of PS+ but last time I played it I got bored after the second colossus and never went back to it. Now I have Last Guardian from Boomerang and having really enjoyed and finished Ico I feel it’s appropriate to go back and finish SotC before starting Last Guardian.

I’ve got a little further into the game this time around having just beaten the 5th colossus.

The Mummy Maze thing on Captain Toad is annoying. Got to level 38 so far.

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Just Cause 3. Having a blast, thinking it's about time to stop neglecting the story now though.

I've found this game to be such a disappointment. As I said earlier in the thread instead of the puzzles becoming more clever they just seem to add in more bullshit to increase the difficulty.

Dead Cells

:toot: :toot: :toot: Beat Black Bridge/Concierge yesterday. And then again on my first attempt this morning 8-) (Though by this morning's attempt I'd unlocked a third swig of the health flask and the ability to upgrade gear.)
Ossuary, I am coming for youuuuuuuu! (Man, strawberry float those flaming turtle mob things. Also the triangle helmet headed strawberry floaters. Also the everything else in that POS place.)

Bomb Chicken - Nintendo Switch

Started playing this tonight and got through 12 levels so far. It’s pretty tough, it’s one of those 2D platformers that you’ll die lots but it has that ‘one more go’ factor so you don’t want to put it down.

Added A Hat in Time to my play list. Lovely game. Haven't played anything like it in quite some time. Beat Mafia Boss after half a dozen attempts.
