I have heard about the program but I have decided to avoid it, I love Micheal Jackson’s music and since he can’t defend any accusations I don’t find it very far, if it’s true then it’s disgusting but I just can’t bring myself to believe it,

Piers Morgan would have defended Jimmy Saville

How is it "not fair" purely on the basis of him being dead? Would you have said the same thing about Savile? Is judgement, justice and the truth purely reserved for those who happen to be alive at any given moment?

Seems a case of making an exception for someone be sure you like their creative output, and then willfully sticking your head in the sand.

Michael Jackson defence force.

I haven't seen the documentary. Piers Morgan would defend anything though, he's a strawberry floating idiot.

I didn't watch all the video but, from what I saw, I didn't find the director to be 'creepy'. I do however question yet another accusation being made against Michael Jackson, this time by people who previously testified for him. This is all very sad and tricky to deal with, and so I'll just say this: it was lovely seeing Charlotte Hawkins again.

I think at this point the world just needs to accept that he very likely did some definitely not OK things with/to kids that he shouldn't have.

There is something about MJ fans though. For example, I was a massive Kevin Spacey fan, he played a starring role in a lot of my favourite films (i.e. Seven, LA Confidential, Usual Suspects). I can't watch those now because I can't separate what Spacey the person was up to from Spacey the actor's performance.

Jacko fans though remain steadfast in their belief that Michael is completely innocent despite the wealth of evidence to the contrary. It's mental.

And yeah, one of my best mates is a massive MJ fan. He met him several times, owns loads of rare MJ memorabilia etc. Yet he refuses to believe.

It’s a type of tribalism I think. You see it in other areas as well. A hardcore supporter of Labour/Tories will defend them to the death. People will defend their football team/players no matter what they do. Look at some of the console fanboys we have on GR!

It’s all pretty bizarre to me, but then I don’t care enough about things to get to a stage where I will defend indefensible things just because they are part of my “side”.

You will attempt to defend the indefensible just to try and wind someone up though. :datass:

Saw bits of the first part on C4 last night, some of the descriptions of what went on were pretty graphic, and very disturbing.

Trouble is, it's their word against Jackson, he's not around to defend himself, there are other possible variables involved such as money, and in the end, it's difficult to know quite what to believe so i'm keeping an open mind about it.
