This is great fun. Just discovered the Miifoto feature. I can see this getting a lot of use.

Well done Nintendo.

My partner is bored with only having me as a friend. Would be great if she could get some Miis visiting.

I'm not certain about how you make friends in Miitomo. Am I right in thinking that:

> Search for the person's username in Twitter and follow them
> Go into Miitomo, select Add Friend and then select Update Twitter
> Send the appropriate person an invite through Miitomo

There are now 80 people on my friends list and I have no idea who most of them are, besides names I recognise from here there are a load of recommended ones that I'm just sending friend requests too.

Stop being so awkward and make up a Twitter specifically for this like many others have done, then.

And the QR code stuff is just for adding Miis, not friends.

That's not the point though, I shouldn't have to sign up to another service to user this one.

I was going to play some more Metal Gear Solid but I ended up spending an hour just commenting on people's posts and making my own answers. This is fascinatingly addictive for something so simple as dressing up Miis and answering questions :slol:

My only complaint is that it seems to drain my battery very quickly.

I'm pretty sure you already know the answer, jawa, but just in case anyone else is reading - yep, you're right.

If you search on Twitter for the person you want to add (use their @ name) and then follow their profile.

I think the person has to follow you back before Nintendo will suggest them as a friend on Miitomo.

You're quite right though - once your mutual Twitter following is complete, go to Miitomo, select Add Friend, tap on 'Update' and then select Twitter. It'll refresh your Twitter followers list and suggest new friends based on that info.

I'm getting suggested friends / friend requests now generated on mutual friends, which is pretty cool - Miitomo's not a social network like the others in that any real personal or private info is hosted there, so it doesn't really matter who you add, there's no downside. Nice to befriend lots of interesting new people (with some interesting names!)
