I have the last couple of issues. I can’t say it’s grabbed me in the same way the old mags used to, but it’s a definite step up from Switch Player, which felt lifeless and focussed overly on reviews. It’s got a sense of humour for one thing! (Also issue 2 had an interview with Matt Castle, formerly of NGamer and ONM parish.)

I haven't got a Nintendo (besides my Wii which I recently connected back up) but nice to hear about this. I might get the back issues here or actually pledge. Good luck to them.

As the big media companies retreat from publishing gaming magazines - there's pretty much only Future left, with a small handful of mags - I think that these fan-made mags are the future (small f). It's amazing how successful they can be, too - Freeze 64 is a colour, A5-sized fan production focused on the Commodore 64 (yes, that computer from 1982!) and it sells around 500 copies per issue (published roughly every six weeks); not financially viable for something like Future but ideal for an enthusiast publisher.

Just put an order in for the first two issues, loving the F-Zero cover. Hope they get Wil Overton to do some of the future covers, love his work on Super Play.

I've also joined in the fun and ordered the double pack. I've had an eye on this for a little while, I've seen it pop up on my twitter feed a few times and thought about it each time.

Just got the first two issues come through the ol’ letterbox, the smell of a new magazine

Seems quality, I will back this on Kickstarter for the third issue now.

Yea, mine arrived too, the second then issue is the better one, but I enjoyed both, there's just something better about reading reviews and interviews in print rather than online.

I’ve had a quick flick through, although I don’t like Pokemon it’s still giving me the feels and making me look forward to a fresh mag drop on the doormat. The F-Zero issue was my fave so far.

I'm going to buy the Triple Pack of the first three issues. I miss video game magazines.
