Racist Americans are going to be loving this. I wonder which one of them will step up with the religious crap about God smiting the Obama lovers.

I wonder how McCain will play this out. Will be a hot topic for politics I bet regarding this.

:fp: What an insensitive bitch.

That's what some cow at uni once said, I wanted to deck her for being so stupid. She said it was Karma that bad people got punished in the Earthquake in China and India...she was a spoilt rich girl whose dad paid for everything and hadn't a shred of decency. I couldn't fathom how this girl thought she was better than the countless number of people that die in natural disasters, many of whom are probably innocent and much better people compared to her.

:x
How can anyone say that? That's ridiculous. You should've asked her if the masses killed and hurt by the tsunami, infact, had it coming.

I've never even met this girl and just reading that makes me want to hit her

edit: Only just read that link about Sharon Stone now. Jesus. I don't know what else to say.

You wanna know what the worst thing is? She was there at the time of the Tsunami and said god saved her and let the others be punished. I wanted her dead.

She sounds lovely. Needs to be bummed hard and left crying and covered in her own filth. Just to give her some perspective of course.

Not again. I really feel for the people who live there. They haven't even covered from the last Hurricane yet.

New Orleans will always face problems like this in future. Alas, there's not much that can be reasonably done except hope that rain never falls so bad around the area again.

Have they tried... expanding the surrounding wetlands to absorb tidal surges hurricanes are known to create?

I'm sure they haven't possibly thought of that idea. Maybe US States should look to GR for policy advice in the future.
